- Moonshine is an outstanding young Wool male. The first thing you notice about Moonshine is his conformation, an upstanding stylish male, with fleece coverage from head to toe. But where Moonshine really excels is in his exquisite handle which is consistent across his body. A soft, silky feel, that Jim Watts described as "stunning". The SRS(R) tests confirmed what we already suspected, a high density animal, with uniform and fine primary and secondary fibres, and exceptional fibre growth. His genetics are impressive, with a pedigree that includes Purrumbete Highlander, Purrumbete Inti, Purrumbete Brigantine, Benleigh Bellisimo, Belbourie Trooper, and Jolimont Iva.
Moonshine is well grown and has good bone, as the photograph of him at only 14 months of age shows. Also notice how the fleece crimps to the toes and into the brisket.
SRS Test Results - Density 52.8 per mm sq, Length 0.43 mm/day, Primary Fibre 27.6 micron, Secondary Fibres 20.4. His primaries are only 7.2 broader than his secondaries (full SRS report can be dowloaded below).
